Pediatric Hospitalist (MD/DO) – Reno, NV | 1155 Mill Street

• Location: Reno, NV (1155 Mill Street)

• Shift: Full-time, Day shifts (specifics discussed during interview)
• Hours/Week: As needed per hospital protocols
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics or Neonatology
• Experience: Prior hospitalist or newborn care experience preferred

• Salary: $190,000 – $230,000 annually (based on experience and training; discussed during interview)
• Additional Compensation: Sign-on bonuses, relocation assistance

• Perform newborn nursery examinations and assessments
• Conduct circumcisions and other newborn procedures
• Participate in pediatric resident and medical student teaching
• Collaborate with pediatric intensivists, neonatologists, and hospital staff
• Work with dedicated neonatal nursing teams trained in transitional and couplet care
• Support comprehensive care in a Level 3 NICU with 24/7 in-house neonatology coverage
• Leverage pediatric subspecialty resources, including pediatric surgery
• Contribute to high-quality patient-centered neonatal care in a supportive environment
• No delivery attendance required

Required:

• MD or DO credential
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics or Neonatology
• Valid Nevada medical license or eligible
• Residency in the local area or willingness to relocate

Preferred:

• Prior hospitalist or neonatal care experience
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
