Nocturnist Opportunity in Ashland, KY
A leading regional healthcare system serving eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician for a Nocturnist Hospitalist role. This is a full-time employed opportunity offering strong compensation, a predictable schedule, and a well-supported inpatient environment.
Practice Details
Full-time employed Nocturnist Hospitalist position
7 on / 7 off schedule
Night shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Manage admissions and oversee inpatient census
Established hospitalist team with strong support
EPIC EMR system
Clinical Responsibilities
Admit and manage hospitalized patients overnight
Provide comprehensive inpatient care and coordination
Collaborate with specialists and care teams
Ensure accurate documentation and patient management
Support & Resources
Large referral network across 20 regional hospitals
Service area of approximately 750,000 patients
Strong specialty support and care coordination
Established hospitalist infrastructure
Compensation & Benefits
$325,000 salary guarantee

Requirements
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure
