Hospitalist Physician opening | Dubuque, IA Details: * FT, permanent position * Actively recruiting a Hospitalist Physician to join a physician-led, nonprofit team in Dubuque, Iowa. Dedicated to improving outcomes and providing excellence in patient-centered care. * Schedule: 7-on/7-off blocked scheduling (12-hour shifts). * Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (14 shifts per month). * No Overnight Shifts: Overnights are covered by employed Telehospitalists. * Staffing: Each shift is staffed with 2 Physicians and 1 APP. * Team Size: 6 Physicians and 2 APPs. * EMR: Epic. Responsibilities & Census: * Patient Volume: Average census of 15–17 patients. * Admissions: 10–15 total admissions per day. * Procedures: No procedures required. * Codes: Hospitalist serves as the Code Leader. Qualifications: * Education: MD or DO. * Certification: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. * Licensure: Ability to obtain an unrestricted Iowa medical license and federal/state DEA authority. * Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (H1-B cap exempt). * Sponsorship: J-1 waiver sponsorship is available via the HHS waiver process.
