Job description

We are not able to accept Visa candidates – experienced only candidates will be accepted

We are seeking an experienced Hospitalist Physician (MD/DO) for an inpatient opportunity in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. This position is open to Board-Certified physicians who hold, or are eligible to obtain, an active Florida medical license, and is best suited for hospitalists comfortable managing adult and geriatric patient populations in a high-quality inpatient setting.

This physician-led, professionally managed healthcare system has been serving the Tampa Bay community for decades and is expanding its Hospitalist team to support a new state-of-the-art hospital opening in April 2026, in addition to several established facilities throughout the region. Hospitalists work a daytime schedule (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and provide care for adult through geriatric patients across multiple locations in the Tampa area.

Physicians practice in a collaborative, team-oriented environment that emphasizes autonomy, strong leadership support, and operational efficiency. The system utilizes a fully integrated EPIC EMR, allowing for seamless access to clinical data and continuity of care. Opportunities for leadership involvement are available through various committees, as well as participation in value-based care initiatives.

The position offers competitive compensation with productivity-based earning potential, a sign-on bonus, and a CME stipend, along with eligibility for additional incentives. A comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, disability coverage, retirement savings options, deferred compensation, and malpractice coverage with tail.

Physicians enjoy a balanced schedule, an average daily census of 18–22 patients, and the ability to practice in modern, well-supported inpatient settings alongside a collegial team of primary care and specialty providers.
