We’re partnering with a community hospital in eastern North Carolina seeking a BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalist for day shift locums coverage.
Highlights:
- 12-hour day shifts (7a–7p)
- Inpatient only
- No call required
- Low-volume ED
- EPIC EMR
- Average 16–18 patients/day
- Light admissions (≈2 per day)
- Well-structured unit mix:
- Medical Unit
- Surgical Unit
- ICU (vent management required)
Additional Details:
- Providers run codes
- No requirement to back up the ER
- Orientation provided prior to first shift
