Opportunity:
Physician - Pediatric Hospitalist
Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive pediatric hospitalist services with 5-10 patient encounters per shift
• Board certification required with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Must be licensed in California only
• Perform intubation procedures for both newborns and pediatric patients
• Central line placement capabilities required
• UVC (umbilical venous catheter) placement required
• Needle pneumothorax decompression skills required
• EKG interpretation abilities required
• Preferred skills include ventilation management for newborns and pediatrics (both acute and chronic)
• Arterial line placement preferred
• UAC (umbilical arterial catheter) placement preferred
• Lumbar puncture experience preferred
• Chest tube insertion capabilities preferred
• X-ray interpretation skills preferred
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90-120 days
• Permanent position with immediate start date
Compensation:
Employed salary with benefits.
