Facility:
This is a comprehensive Level 3 trauma facility with 238 licensed beds, including a 17-bed pediatric unit that also serves adult medical/surgical patients. The facility provides excellent support for hospitalist services and maintains high standards for patient care with modern equipment and dedicated staff.
Opportunity:
Physician - Pediatric Hospitalist
Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive pediatric hospitalist services with an average of 3-6 pediatric patients per shift
• Work 24-hour shifts with overnight call taken from home
• Handle an average of 5 ED consults per shift (3 during the day, 2 at night)
• Ability to schedule up to 3 consecutive 24-hour shifts
• Perform lumbar punctures as required
• Conduct X-ray and EKG interpretation
• Provide suturing for minor lacerations
• Must be board certified in Pediatrics
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Must hold active Washington state medical license or IMLC
• Credentialing timeframe 60-90 days (expedited privileges available for clean history)
• Work in a Level 3 trauma and pediatric facility setting
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
