Facility in Maine has a need for a Locum Hospitalist. This is 24-hour coverage. Onsite accommodations.
Responsibilities
This is 24 Hr Solo Coverage for a rural hospital, typically 12-15 hours working with the remainder on call with overnight Nocturnist support. Doctor will have sleeping amenities nearby or on-site.
Please ensure Hospitalists can do emergent intubations, vent management, and central lines (unless otherwise noted).
Required Procedures: Central Lines, Vent Management, Emergent Intubations, Lumbar Punctur, Paracentesis/Thoracentesis
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Facility: Houlton Regional Hospital
Dates of Coverage Needed: 3/13-3/18 with the potential for additional shifts 3/25-4/1, 4/10-4/20.
This is 24 Hr Solo Coverage for a rural hospital, typically 12-15 hours working with the remainder on callvernight Nocturnist support. Doctor will have sleeping amenities nearby or on-site.

Procedures Required: Vent Management, Central Lines, Lumbar Punctur, Paracentesis/Thoracentesis, Intubations
Additional Responsibilities:
Specialty support (Besides ER, is Interventional cardiology / neurology, IR, GI, etc available?): Anesthesia, General Surgery. Nocturnist
Will there be midlevel (APP) help:
