The facility features a collaborative, patient-focused environment with a supportive team of 8 OB/GYN physicians and 4 advanced practice providers, utilizing a fully integrated Epic EMR system.
Opportunity:
Physician - Hospitalist - OB
Job Details:
• Board-certified OB/GYN Nocturnist position • Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric care overnight, including labor management, deliveries, postpartum care, and triage • Manage gynecologic consults for acute issues during nocturnist shifts • Perform urgent assessments and interventions for obstetric and gynecologic patients • Collaborate with a supportive, collegial team of physicians and APPs • Provide backup coverage for complex cases with multispecialty teams onsite • Communicate effectively with day teams for smooth handoffs and continuity of care • Work within a fully integrated Epic EMR environment • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols • Flexible schedule of 6-12 nocturnist shifts per month for work-life balance • Handle emergency obstetric situations, including rapid response for complications • Support training and mentoring of residents or APPs if applicable • Participate in hospital committee work or overnight process improvements as needed • Must be Board Certified in OB/GYN (no exceptions) • Colorado license required (or willingness to obtain) • Clean malpractice history highly preferred • Current DEA required prior to start • In-house overnight coverage, no separate on-call required • Shifts may include weekends (flexible schedule)
