Opportunity:
Physician - Hospitalist
Job Details:
• Full-time Nocturnist position for Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician • Provide overnight inpatient care at the hospital (7 PM - 7 AM schedule) • Work a 7-on/7-off rotation with 12-hour shifts • Perform admissions and manage hospitalized patients overnight • Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations • Document all patient encounters in EPIC EMR • Provide closed ICU overnight rounding on Hospitalist patients • Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition • Collaborate with subspecialists and multidisciplinary teams • Coordinate appropriate follow-up care arrangements upon discharge • Deliver patient-centered, high-quality inpatient care • Participate as part of a respected, collegial Hospitalist team • Work within a physician-led governance structure • Utilize strong clinical judgment and communication skills in acute care settings • Experience is REQUIRED, will not accept fresh graduates • Not accepting Locums candidates • Not accepting Visa Candidates • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 2 years of eligibility) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine • NY Medical License or willingness to obtain • Clean malpractice and license history required • No on-call requirement beyond scheduled night shifts • Weekends included as part of 7-on/7-off rotation schedule
