Local Team Collaboration:

  • Lead our local team of 5 Hospital Medicine physicians.
  • We are an integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and providing Emergency Medicine services in addition to Hospital medicine.
  • Our team actively participates in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement.
  • Outside of work, we come together for social events to celebrate special occasions and share common interests like food and sports.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine. Family medicine can be considered with demonstrated hospitalist experience.
  • Ability to manage ICU patients without intensivist back up.
  • Prefer at least 1-2 years of hospitalist experience and previous leadership experience.

Flexible Scheduling:

  • Flexible scheduling is available. Medical Director works an average of 12 clinical shifts a month.
  • We understand the importance of spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors. That’s why we offer a flexible schedule that allows for work-life balance. Our team covers for each other when anyone is out, ensuring that you can enjoy time off without worry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical oversight for the team while building strong relationships with our hospital partner leadership.
  • Providing inpatient care to a small, acute care hospital with an open ICU and minimal subspecialty support.
  • Candidates must be comfortable with vent management but are not required to do procedures.

Living and Working in Moses Lake:

  • Moses Lake is a place where work and nature blend seamlessly. Known for its expansive lake and stunning desert landscapes, this Washington gem offers the peace of small-town living, while being less than a half-day’s drive away from the bigger cities of Spokane and Seattle.
  • Enjoy the vibrancy of outdoor adventures, whether boating, fishing, or enjoying the local arts scene, Moses Lake is where you can truly enjoy life.
  • Our patients always come first. We’re a community-minded team and encourage our team members to contribute in and out of the hospital to help make our local community thrive.
  • Growth and development are at the core of Sound’s medical practices, so we offer our clinicians opportunities and career advancement across the whole medical group.

Rewards and Compensation:

  • Annual compensation $365K + incentives.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including paid malpractice, including tail coverage, 401K with matching contributions, and annual CME allowance.
