SCP Health is seeking a dedicated Hospital Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team at Smyth County Community Hospital. • 26 Acute Care Beds (incl. 4 acuity adj. beds ICU/PCU)

• NO ICU

• Coverage model: 12-hour shift, (7a-7p) | 7 on/7off schedule

o Night Tele support for admissions & floor call

• EMR: Epic

Smyth County Community Hospital includes a 26-bed acute care hospital, a 109-bed nursing care facility, and a variety of outreach programs. There are more than 50 physicians serving on its active medical staff. The hospital offers surgical services, rehabilitation services, women’s services, emergency services, cardio-pulmonary services, most acute care including home health, skilled nursing and long-term care. Other services include a diagnostic sleep center, cardio/pulmonary rehabilitation and an inpatient rehabilitation unit. Smyth County Community Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission.

Job Qualifications

· Board Certified or Board Eligible required in FM or IM

o Within 7yrs of graduation or 2yrs prior hospitalist experience

· Inpatient Rehab training or experience preferred
