Facility:
This medical center is a respected healthcare facility providing comprehensive care to the Walla Walla community. The facility is a Level 3 trauma center with 24-hour availability of essential support services including anesthesia, cardio-thoracic surgery, catheterization lab, general surgery, laboratory, orthopedic surgery, and radiology.
Opportunity:
Physician - Hospitalist
Job Details:
• 7-day block scheduling (Tuesday to Tuesday) with 12-hour day shifts (7am-7pm)
• Coverage needed for 1-2 weeks per month starting mid-March/beginning of April
• Manage 10-15 patient encounters per shift
• Open ICU setting requiring privileges for ongoing vent management
• MUST have documentation of 15+ vent management cases within the past 24 months
• Required to provide adult inpatient care with ICU coverage
• Non-invasive ventilation management required
• Ventilation management required (acute and chronic preferred)
• EKG interpretation required
• Arterial line placement preferred
• Cardiac stress test interpretation preferred
• Board certification required
• Active Washington state license or IMLC required
• ACLS certification required
• 60-90 day credentialing timeframe
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
