February 2026 – ongoing (option to extend)
Reason for Coverage:
Day and night shifts; rotating 7 on / 7 off schedule available
Schedule
Full-time preferred. Flexible options available. Minimum commitment of 1–2 weeks per month. Rotating 7 on/7 off days and nights
Shifts
Days: 7:00a–7:00p | Nights: 7:00p–7:00a or 5:00p–5:00a |Nocturnists may also take call
Call
None for day shifts / Nights negotiable
Patient Volume:
Average 15–17 patients per day / 2–4 admissions per provider
Scope & Procedures:
Days/Nights: Inpatient rounding, consults, ICU admissions, ventilator management
Nights: Chest tubes, responding to codes, central and arterial lines
EMR: Allscripts
Hospital Details:
Level III Trauma Center. 283 total beds. Open ICU
Support Staff
Two CCM physicians on day shifts for most critical patients
Hospitalist manages remaining ICU patients
One NP assists with admissions on occasion (not guaranteed daily)
Nights are solo coverage
Requirements
BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
OK license (IMLC Compact accepted)
Active DEA & Clean background
