Exciting Hospitalist Opportunity Just Outside of Boston!

Location: Greater Lawrence, Methuen, and Haverhill areas, Massachusetts

Healthcare Organization: A newly unified regional health system. The system serves 13 cities and towns across the Merrimack Valley, delivering a full continuum of care with a strong commitment to health equity, community engagement, and culturally competent care.

Opportunity: Primarily nights and swing shift Hospitalist Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to join the hospitalist team providing inpatient care at Lawrence General Hospital, a Level III Trauma Center, with opportunities for academic appointments and leadership development.

Details:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care for adult hospitalized patients

• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans

• Communicate with patients and families regarding care plans and progress

• Ensure safe transitions of care at shift changes and discharge

• Document care and billing in the Meditech Expanse EMR

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, hospital committees, and teaching

• 7-on / 7-off block scheduling model

• Tufts University School of Medicine academic appointments available

• CME stipend provided

• Visa candidates welcome

• Opportunity to participate in the Lawrence General Hospital Leadership Academy

• Spanish language skills a plus but not required

Compensation:

• Base pay range: $130.00 – $145.00 per hour, based on experience, education, licensure, and internal equity
