Schedule & Availability (Key Screening Info)
  • Shift Length: 14-hour nocturnist shifts
  • Schedule Options:
    • 3 shifts per week, or
    • 6 shifts every other week
  • Average Nightly Admissions: 6
  • ICU Coverage: Open ICU (9 beds)
Clinical Scope
  • Hospitalist nocturnist coverage
  • Open ICU with tele-intensivist support
  • ICU procedures include:
    • Vent management
    • Lumbar puncture
    • Central lines
  • Specialty backup includes:
    • General Surgery, Cardiology, ENT, Ortho
    • OB/GYN, GI, Nephrology, Ophthalmology
    • Sleep Medicine, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy

  • 81-bed community hospital
  • Established Med-Peds hospitalist program:
    • 6 physicians
    • 1 advanced practice provider
  • Fully integrated Epic EMR
  • Employment by Physicians
  • Part of a growing 9-hospital physician-led health system
Licensure & Certifications
  • Board Certification: Internal Medicine or Med-Peds (BE/BC)
  • State License: North Carolina
  • EMR Experience: Epic preferred
