Facility:
This hospital is a comprehensive stroke center (DNV-certified) that provides advanced neurological care to the community. The facility offers state-of-the-art technology including EEG and continuous EEG monitoring capabilities, supporting high-level neurology services in a collaborative environment.
Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Neurohospitalist
Job Details:
• Provide telestroke call coverage (split for the month)
• Manage 24-hour neurology consult services
• Cover unrestricted evening and overnight call for General Neurology (non-stroke/TPA services)
• Handle an average daily census of 15 patients per day
• Perform approximately 4-5 neurology consults daily
• Respond to approximately 4 telestroke calls per day
• Interpret EEG and continuous EEG studies
• Work within a Comprehensive Stroke Center (DNV certified)
• Must be board certified in specialty
• BLS certification required
• Must hold an active Texas medical license
• Fellowship training required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
