Required Skills:
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven experience in obstetric care, labor management, and delivery
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations effectively
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working as a hospitalist or in a similar locum role
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Bilingual capabilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of obstetric practice, preferably in a hospital setting
- Previous locum or temporary role experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Weekend shift availability (Friday through Sunday)
- Hospital privileges expedited upon credentialing
- Willingness to travel to Rockwall, TX; accommodations provided if applicable
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Valid medical license in Texas or eligible for licensure
