Are you a dedicated obstetrician-gynecologist seeking a flexible and rewarding locum opportunity? Our esteemed healthcare facility is seeking an experienced OB Hospitalist to provide exceptional care during weekends in Rockwall, TX. This vital role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives while enjoying competitive compensation and outstanding support.

In this position, you will serve as the primary obstetric care provider during weekend shifts, ensuring patient safety, managing labor and delivery, and collaborating with hospital staff to deliver high-quality maternal healthcare. Your expertise will contribute to a seamless delivery process and enhance patient satisfaction.

Required Skills:
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Proven experience in obstetric care, labor management, and delivery
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations effectively

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working as a hospitalist or in a similar locum role
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Bilingual capabilities are a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • At least 2 years of obstetric practice, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Previous locum or temporary role experience is advantageous

Other Requirements:
  • Weekend shift availability (Friday through Sunday)
  • Hospital privileges expedited upon credentialing
  • Willingness to travel to Rockwall, TX; accommodations provided if applicable
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
  • Valid medical license in Texas or eligible for licensure
