Position Type: Full-Time (Minimum 5.5 shifts/month, up to 7.5 shifts/month; 24-hour shifts)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled OB Hospitalist to join our team immediately. The provider will be responsible for managing all obstetric inpatient care, including deliveries, triage, and high-risk pregnancies, in collaboration with neonatologists and maternal-fetal medicine specialists. This is a permanent full-time role ideal for OB physicians seeking a stable position with opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive obstetric inpatient care, including management of labor, deliveries, and postpartum care.
  • Perform and assist with Cesarean sections, including surgical procedures and emergency interventions.
  • Conduct OB triage assessments, admissions, and outpatient consultations.
  • Manage high-risk pregnancies in collaboration with maternal-fetal medicine specialists.
  • Oversee approximately 1,924 annual deliveries, including 96 C-sections.
  • Handle an outpatient OB/GYN triage caseload with roughly 2,296 visits annually.
  • Conduct around 1,229 OB/Emergency Department consults per year.
  • Work closely with neonatology team in a Level II NICU setting.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies within the labor and delivery unit.
  • Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage as needed.
  • Support hospital initiatives aimed at delivering exceptional maternal-fetal health outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Valid Texas medical license or able to obtain one promptly.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and community engagement.
  • Residency within the immediate local area preferred (relocation assistance available).
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive Hourly Rate: $135/hour (~$292,000 annually, based on schedule)
