This facility is a regional medical center serving the healthcare needs of eastern Kentucky communities. The hospital provides comprehensive women's health services with a Level 2 NICU and daily onsite anesthesia coverage with 24/7 call availability, ensuring high-quality maternal care.
Opportunity:
Physician - OB Hospitalist
Job Details:
• Manage approximately 200 unassigned deliveries per year • Work within a coverage model with other OB physicians covering unassigned patients • Participate in expanding coverage and growing market share for the facility • Work with Level 2 NICU capabilities • Collaborate with daily onsite anesthesia coverage (24/7 call coverage available) • Interact with Internal Medicine residency program that rotates through Labor & Delivery • See patients in outpatient setting (new and routine patients) • Coordinate with employed OBs who provide backup support during multiple emergencies • Handle gynecological responsibilities including surgery, consults, and outpatient clinic work • Benefit from remote MFM outpatient availability through University of Kentucky
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
