This medical center is a leading healthcare provider in central Iowa offering comprehensive medical services. The facility features modern amenities including an 8-bed obstetrical emergency department, advanced medical imaging, and full laboratory and pharmacy services.

Opportunity:
Physician - Hospitalist - OB

Job Details:
• Locum to Perm OB/GYN Hospitalist position starting January 1, 2026 • 24-hour shifts (7am-7am) with approximately 6.5 shifts per month • In-house call (24/7) with call rooms available • Primary responsibilities include OBED patients, emergent patients (vaginal deliveries and C-sections) • Care for patients without primary OBGYN • Part of the only maternity transport team in Iowa • No GYN responsibilities • MFM will be on call for consultations as needed • Will not be responsible for resident supervision (residents are present) • OBED sees approximately 1389 visits per year with roughly 463 resulting in deliveries • Epic EMR system • Board Certification required (truly board eligible candidates may be considered) • Must have active Iowa license or active IMLC • Clean malpractice and background history required

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
