The facility features state-of-the-art technology and a collaborative team environment with APP support, ensuring excellent patient care and professional growth opportunities.
Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Neurohospitalist
Job Details:
• Must be able to read transcranial dopplers - this is a critical requirement for this Comprehensive center • Option for remote reading access as well as in-person inpatient neuro shifts • Flexible shift schedule including days/nights/weekends and potential holidays as needed (7a-7p, 7p-7a, and flexible 7a-1p round shifts) • Manage approximately 12 patient encounters per shift with stroke-heavy patient volume • Only admit patients treated for stroke with TNK or mechanical thrombectomy • Handle approximately 10 consults in a 24-hour period and approximately 10 stroke activations per day (shared with APPs) • Perform lumbar punctures and provide general neurology consult services • Self-motivated provider needed for heavy patient volume environment • Must provide last 24 months of case logs for LP and TNK procedures • Board certification required with current BLS certification • Must have active Missouri medical license or IMLC • Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days • Start date: January 18, 2026 with ongoing need

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
