This medical center is a critical healthcare provider serving the Polson community and surrounding areas. The facility features a 22-bed department with comprehensive services, supporting both adult and pediatric patient populations in an intimate, community-focused environment.
Opportunity:
Board Certified - Pediatric and Adult Hospitalist
Job Details:
• Hospitalist position requiring both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics experience
• Must be Family Medicine Board Certified or double boarded in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics
• Required certifications include NRP, BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Recent experience with pediatrics/newborns in a Hospitalist setting (within last 3 years) required
• Must be able to care for adults, pediatrics, and newborns
• 12-hour day shifts (adult) with night call for Pediatric Hospitalist coverage
• Cover newborns while on pediatric call
• Manage 6-12 patient encounters per shift
• Provide inpatient care including ICU management
• Perform non-invasive ventilation management and ventilation management (acute)
• Required skills include intubation (ENT/INT) and EKG interpretation
• Attend C-sections, high-risk deliveries, and provide newborn care
• Perform conscious and deep sedation procedures
• Central line placement skills required
• Must be licensed in Montana or have Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30-60 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid Travel and Lodging.
