Job description
We are seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine physician for a full-time nocturnist position at Ochsner Rush - Meridian, MS. We have a strong, established group of providers and need another physician to join our team. Our hospital does multidisciplinary rounds per day; has low readmission rates and great average lengths of stay.
Details include:
- 215-Bed Hospital with a 23 bed ICU and a 49 bed LTAC.
- Schedule: 1 nocturnist covers at night 6pm to 6am
- Census: 35-40 patients on service (taking care of any issues and not rounding on all of them)
- Shift times: 6 am to 6 pm
- 7 on/7off Block Scheduling.
- Good specialty backup including 3 Intensivists.
- Duties include ICU rounds, intubations, run codes, central lines, and a lines
- Currently utilizing telemedicine in our Critical Access Hospitals
