Pediatric Hospitalist Physician
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Call 24;On Call Pay Rate: $1455.00 - $1575.00
This facility is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details & requirements for this opportunity:
- Schedule: Call only; 6:00am-6:00am; 4-5 shifts per month starting in February
- Total census per provider per shift: 1-7
- Procedures required: Do not do central line placement outside the newborn period (Umbilical Venous Catheter and Umbilical Arterial Catheter are technically central lines but only for neonates), chest tubes, intubations for pediatric patients would most likely occur in the Emergency Department. Emergency Department doctors and anesthesia would typically have significantly more experience here.

- Support: To be determined
- Certifications and license requirements: Active California license, Drug Enforcement Administration license, board certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program
- Credentialing timeframe: 30 days
