This medical center provides comprehensive pediatric and newborn care services to the Athens community. The facility features a supportive environment with an integrated team of pediatric specialists and neonatologists ensuring excellent patient care and collaborative practice opportunities.

Board Certified - Pediatrics
Job Details:
• Per Diem Pediatric Hospitalist position providing coverage of the Newborn Nursery • 24-hour shifts including rounding plus offsite call • Perform circumcisions as part of regular duties • Provide newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists • No pediatric floor coverage required • Deliver expert pediatric consultations to the emergency department • Provide timely assessments, recommendations, and treatment plans for pediatric patients • Work collaboratively with a team of pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and clinical research projects • Exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of providers • Must be Board Certified in Pediatrics (required) • Ohio license or active IMLC compact eligibility preferred • Minimum of 1-year post-residency experience required • Recent clinical experience within the last 12 months required
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
