Position Highlights
Join PPE'S dedicated inpatient team serving the Yonkers community with excellence and compassion. We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join our hospitalist program as a Nocturnist.
Position Highlights
- Location: Yonkers, New York
- Schedule: 7-on / 7-off (12-hour night shifts)
- Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care during night hours
- Perform admissions, cross-coverage, and patient management
- Conduct necessary procedures including:
- Central lines
- Intubations
- Arterial lines
- Paracentesis / Thoracentesis
- Code and rapid response team leadership
- Collaborate closely with nursing staff, consultants, and support teams
- Ensure high-quality, evidence-based care with efficient documentation
Skills & Qualifications
- MD or DO with active New York State medical license
- Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Proficient in common inpatient procedures
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
