Facility:
This established medical center features a 344-bed tertiary care hospital with Level I Trauma Center certification, a highly-ranked cardiovascular program, and a Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center. The facility is connected via indoor skywalk to a 140-bed multispecialty hospital with acute dialysis, medical-surgical, psychiatry, and outpatient surgery units.

Job Details:
• Join a well-established 25-year-old Hospitalist program with 58 physicians and 17 NP/PAs • Work in a friendly, collegial environment with team-based collaborative model with Advanced Practice Providers • Enjoy a 7-day on, 7-day off schedule throughout the year (168 shifts considered full-time) with flexible scheduling • Manage approximately 16 patients per day for physician-only rounding teams, or 24-26 for physician and APP teams • Responsibilities include admissions, consults, rounding, and discharge • Open ICU setting (no ventilator management required) • Procedures not required • BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with strong interest in hospital-based care (mentorship available) • Utilize Epic Electronic Medical Record system throughout the entire healthcare system • Participate in hospital-based research, quality, and clinical initiatives • Optional teaching opportunities with inpatient Family Medicine Residency service and University of Minnesota Medical Students • Provide secondary and tertiary care services to patients from northern Wisconsin and north-central and eastern Minnesota
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
