Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Waverly, IA

Required Skills:
- Board eligibility or certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Valid medical license and DEA registration
- Proven experience in obstetric emergencies, deliveries, and gynecologic procedures
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced hospital setting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with EMR systems (system to be determined)
- Previous locum or hospitalist experience
- Ability to handle OB triage and unassigned gynecologic emergencies independently
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics
- Familiarity with Level 1 NICU and hospital delivery protocols
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work a 24-hour shift, starting approximately at 7:00 or 7:30 AM
- Participation in MHAS model (clinic and call required)
- Coverage includes OB triage, gynecologic emergencies, and deliveries
- Compensation at $195/hour
- Commitment to adhering to all applicable licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements when applicable
