🏥 Position Overview:

Join a highly respected hospital in Salinas, CA as an OB-GYN Hospitalist and be part of a collaborative team providing 24-hour, in-house obstetric and gynecologic care. Work in a state-of-the-art labor and delivery unit with access to maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialists and pediatric subspecialists. This is an ideal position for a provider who thrives in an inpatient setting with consistent shift-based scheduling and minimal call requirements.

🩺 Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality OB/GYN inpatient care

• Provide OB Emergency Department (OB ED) coverage

• Manage labor, triage, and obstetric emergencies

• Attend and assist with deliveries (low volume due to community OB support)

• Assist in gynecologic and obstetric surgeries

• Monitor labor progression and fetal well-being

• Collaborate with MFM and NICU teams (Level III NICU in partnership with Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford)

• Ensure 24/7 hospitalist coverage in private labor & delivery suites
