Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid medical license to practice in Texas
- Current DEA license and CPR/BLS certifications
- Proven experience in obstetric care and hospitalist services
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with healthcare teams
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous locum or hospitalist experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Bilingual abilities, especially English and Spanish
- Advanced certifications such as Fetal Heart Monitoring or Ultrasound
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Minimum of two years’ experience in obstetrics and hospital-based care
- Prior experience working in a hospitalist role preferred
Other Requirements:
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
- Compliance with all hospital and healthcare regulations
- Ability to travel to the assignment location as needed
- Candidates must hold proper licensure and certifications valid for Texas practice
