Required Skills:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Valid medical license to practice in Texas
  • Current DEA license and CPR/BLS certifications
  • Proven experience in obstetric care and hospitalist services
  • Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with healthcare teams

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Previous locum or hospitalist experience
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Bilingual abilities, especially English and Spanish
  • Advanced certifications such as Fetal Heart Monitoring or Ultrasound

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in obstetrics and hospital-based care
  • Prior experience working in a hospitalist role preferred

Other Requirements:
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Compliance with all hospital and healthcare regulations
  • Ability to travel to the assignment location as needed
  • Candidates must hold proper licensure and certifications valid for Texas practice
