Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist San Antonio, TX

We are seeking dedicated, experienced physicians who are ready to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Required Skills:
  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Active and unrestricted Texas medical license
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Valid DEA licensure
  • Proven experience managing obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Previous experience as a locum or hospitalist
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
  • Fluency in Spanish or other languages relevant to the community

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine is a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology
  • Prior hospitalist or inpatient OB service experience preferred

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to work weekends, with start date of 12/31/2025
  • Willingness to travel as needed within the assigned facility
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Must maintain all necessary licensure, certification, and compliance requirements
  • Eligible for COVID-19 vaccination as per hospital policy

Compensation for this locum role is $214.50 per hour, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), paid sick leave, and reimbursements related to licensure, certification, travel, and other applicable expenses.
