Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Austin, TX

Required Skills:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid state medical license to practice in Texas
- Board-certified or Board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Proven experience in obstetric care and hospital-based delivery management
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively to obstetric emergencies
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience as a locum or covering hospitalist shifts
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Advanced training in high-risk obstetrics or maternal-fetal medicine
- Spanish language proficiency or other bilingual skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of OB hospitalist experience
- Prior work in busy hospital settings with a diverse patient demographic
- Participation in quality improvement initiatives related to obstetric care
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work weekends starting December 31, 2025
- Willingness to travel, if required, with reimbursements provided
- Must maintain all necessary licensure, certifications, and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Clear background check and credentialing processes
