Job Title: Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Johnson City, NY

Overview:
Join our dynamic team as an OB Hospitalist in Johnson City, NY, providing critical surgical and clinical support to ensure high-quality patient care. This locum position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment, leveraging your expertise in obstetrics and hospital medicine. Required Skills:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Active and unrestricted state medical license in New York.
  • Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
  • Valid hospital privileges and current BLS, at minimum, with potential additional certifications like NRP or OB-specific credentials.
  • Excellent clinical skills and ability to work independently in a hospital setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage obstetric emergencies effectively.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Previous experience as an OB Hospitalist or in a hospital-based obstetric setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Additional certifications in fetal monitoring or neonatal resuscitation.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Doctorate (MD or DO).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in obstetrics or hospitalist roles.
  • Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is a plus.

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to start on 12/31/2025.
  • Willingness to work weekend shifts (Friday through Sunday).
  • Travel and licensure reimbursements applicable when necessary.
  • Must comply with all hospital and healthcare regulations, including E-Verify and all necessary certifications.
