Required Skills:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Active and unrestricted state medical license in New York.
- Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Valid hospital privileges and current BLS, at minimum, with potential additional certifications like NRP or OB-specific credentials.
- Excellent clinical skills and ability to work independently in a hospital setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage obstetric emergencies effectively.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience as an OB Hospitalist or in a hospital-based obstetric setting.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Additional certifications in fetal monitoring or neonatal resuscitation.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctorate (MD or DO).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in obstetrics or hospitalist roles.
- Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is a plus.
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on 12/31/2025.
- Willingness to work weekend shifts (Friday through Sunday).
- Travel and licensure reimbursements applicable when necessary.
- Must comply with all hospital and healthcare regulations, including E-Verify and all necessary certifications.
