Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Austin, TX

We are seeking dedicated, high-caliber physicians to ensure seamless obstetric care in our hospital partner's facilities.
Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Current state medical licensure or eligibility in Texas
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Family Medicine with OB skills
- Active and unrestricted medical license
- Proven experience in obstetric and prenatal care
- Exceptional clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Comfort managing high-risk pregnancies and labor & delivery
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience working as a hospitalist in obstetrics
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- BLS and NRP certifications
- Fluency in Spanish or other languages spoken in Texas
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an OB hospitalist or in a similar fast-paced obstetric setting
- Active Texas medical license or eligible for licensing
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on or around 12/31/2025
- Endurance to handle 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
- Willingness to travel to various hospital locations within the Austin area if required
- Certification in ACLS and NRP is preferred
- Valid healthcare provider CPR certification
