Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Austin, TX

Required Skills:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid medical license to practice in Texas or the ability to acquire one
- Proven clinical experience in obstetric hospitalist practice
- Strong knowledge of obstetrics, fetal monitoring, emergency interventions, and postpartum care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in a hospitalist role within a busy OB environment
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
- Advanced certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Minimum of 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience preferred
- Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work weekends as per schedule
- Must comply with all state and federal medical licensing regulations
- Willingness to undergo background checks and credentialing process
- Travel and licensure reimbursements provided when applicable
