As a key provider in our network, you will collaborate with a dedicated team committed to excellence and patient safety.

Required Skills:
  • Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) or Family Medicine with OB specialization
  • Active California medical license, or ability to obtain one promptly
  • Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a hospital setting
  • Up-to-date knowledge of OB protocols, procedures, and emergency obstetric practices
  • Strong professionalism and commitment to patient-centered care

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Previous hospitalist or locum tenens experience
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Minimum of 2+ years ofOB hospitalist or inpatient OB/GYN experience in a hospital setting
  • Current ACLS, NRP certification preferred

Other Requirements:
  • Must hold or be eligible for a California medical license
  • Ability to travel to Bakersfield, CA, if not local
  • Commitment to accommodating variable shift schedules, including nights and weekends
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
