Required Skills:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license in Texas
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Proven experience in obstetric care and hospitalist duties
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to fast-paced settings

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Previous locum or temporary hospitalist experience
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
  • Bilingual abilities to enhance patient communication

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Completion of OB/GYN residency program
  • Minimum of 2 years experience practicing as an OB Hospitalist or in a similar setting

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to cover shifts starting 12/31/2025
  • Willingness to travel as needed within the assigned hospital
  • Possession of valid medical licenses, certifications, and DEA registration
  • Compliance with hospital and state-specific protocols and standards
