Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Valid and unrestricted medical license in Texas
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven experience in obstetric care and hospitalist duties
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to fast-paced settings
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous locum or temporary hospitalist experience
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
- Bilingual abilities to enhance patient communication
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Completion of OB/GYN residency program
- Minimum of 2 years experience practicing as an OB Hospitalist or in a similar setting
Other Requirements:
- Availability to cover shifts starting 12/31/2025
- Willingness to travel as needed within the assigned hospital
- Possession of valid medical licenses, certifications, and DEA registration
- Compliance with hospital and state-specific protocols and standards
