Required Skills:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certification or Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain one
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proven experience in OB hospitalist services or inpatient obstetric care
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with high-risk obstetrics management
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Bilingual abilities a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience
- Prior work in hospital or academic settings highly valued
Other Requirements:
- Shifts are 12-hour nights Monday through Friday and 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday (day and night rotations)
- Must comply with all state and federal medical regulations
- Willingness to travel for assignments if required
- Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements provided as applicable
- Competitive hourly rate of $195.00
