Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Austin, TX

Required Skills:
  • Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain one
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical OB hospitalist experience
  • Ability to manage high-risk deliveries and complex obstetric cases
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with ultrasound and fetal monitoring technology
  • Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish
  • Previous work in hospitalist or high-volume obstetric settings
  • Familiarity with telemedicine or remote consultation tools

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Residency completion in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Prior locum or temporary clinical experience is a plus

Other Requirements:
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed
  • Willingness to travel within Austin and surrounding areas
  • Compliance with all licensure, certification, and hospital credentialing requirements
