Required Skills:
- Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain one
- Board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical OB hospitalist experience
- Ability to manage high-risk deliveries and complex obstetric cases
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with ultrasound and fetal monitoring technology
- Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish
- Previous work in hospitalist or high-volume obstetric settings
- Familiarity with telemedicine or remote consultation tools
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Residency completion in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Prior locum or temporary clinical experience is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Current BLS and NRP certifications
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed
- Willingness to travel within Austin and surrounding areas
- Compliance with all licensure, certification, and hospital credentialing requirements
