Required Skills:
- Valid and unrestricted California medical license
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist services
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and compassion
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with high-risk obstetrics
- Certification in advanced fetal monitoring
- proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Minimum of 2 years of inpatient obstetrics experience
- Prior locum or hospitalist experience is advantageous but not mandatory
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work weekend shifts (Friday through Sunday)
- Willingness to adapt to different hospital protocols and electronic systems
- Must meet all state and federal regulatory requirements, including appropriate licensure and certifications
- Travel and licensing reimbursements provided when applicable
