Required Skills:
- Valid and current medical license to practice in California
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Minimum of 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Nice to Have Skills:
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Experience in a tertiary hospital setting
- Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish-English
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Recent experience in obstetric hospitalist role within the past 2 years
- Active board certification in OB-GYN or Family Medicine with obstetrics privileges
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel and work shift schedules as needed
- Compliance with all state and federal licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements
- Ability to provide documentation for malpractice insurance and hospital privileges
- Must maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
