Required Skills:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) or Family Medicine with Obstetrics specialization
- Valid medical license to practice in Texas
- Proven experience in inpatient obstetric care
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a hospital setting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience as a hospitalist or in a locum tenens role
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of obstetric practice experience
- Prior experience working in a hospitalist capacity preferred
Other Requirements:
- Commitment to maintaining current medical licenses and certifications
- Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Completion of all required credentialing and background checks
- Travel, licensure, certification, and other reimbursements when applicable
