Required Skills:
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) or Family Medicine with Obstetrics specialization
  • Valid medical license to practice in Texas
  • Proven experience in inpatient obstetric care
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a hospital setting

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience as a hospitalist or in a locum tenens role
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of obstetric practice experience
  • Prior experience working in a hospitalist capacity preferred

Other Requirements:
  • Commitment to maintaining current medical licenses and certifications
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Completion of all required credentialing and background checks
  • Travel, licensure, certification, and other reimbursements when applicable
