Role: Nocturnist – Internal Medicine

Location: Central Arizona (approx. 100 miles north of Phoenix)

Credentialing: Two hospitals (you only work at one per shift/week – no inter-hospital travel)

Start: Open to 2025 residents; H1 visa sponsorship available

Schedule: 7-on/7-off; 12-hour shifts (6–6 or 7–7 depending on site)

Volume: 18–22 patients/day (may be higher during busy season)

Admissions:

Hospital #1: 0–2 from 6 AM–12 PM; daytime admitter 12–8 PM
-
Hospital #2: Admissions from 7 AM–12 PM or 4–7 PM
Coverage:
Hospital #1: 5 hospitalist teams, 2 NP teams, one admitter, ICU nocturnist at night
Hospital #2: 2 hospitalists + 1 NP team, 1 nocturnist at night
ICU Duties:
Hospital #1: ICU rounding possible, Intensivist support available
Hospital #2: ICU rounding required; transfer decompensating patients to Hospital #1
Codes:
Hospital #1: Respond to codes/RRTs for own patients; ED/Intensivists lead
Hospital #2: Respond to all codes/RRTs
Procedures: Not required
EMR: Cerner
? Compensation & Benefits-
Base Salary: $300,000–$350,000
