Location: A charming city located in the southeastern part of the Ohio. Home to Ohio University, a vibrant college-town atmosphere with a rich cultural and historical heritage.

Facility: Hospital offering a comprehensive range of medical services to patients, including emergency care, surgery, maternity services, cancer care, cardiology, orthopedics, and more. This hospital is known for its commitment to patient-centered care, with a focus on compassion, excellence, and innovation.

Opportunity:
  • EMR- EPIC
  • Daily census- 20-25 daily per team
  • Nightly admissions- Low night admissions (5-10 is a lot and it’s early in the night)
  • Physician shifts- 7a-7p (2 physicians) and 7p-7a (1 physicians) *Daily encounters 10-15
  • APP shifts- 7a-7p (2 APP’s) *Daily encounters 7-10
  • Number of ICU beds- 8 (OPEN ICU)
  • Specialty Coverages- cardiologist, neurologist, OB, Pulmonology
  • Procedures Required- Due to open ICU hospitalist need to be skilled in intubation and preferably central lines. Hospitalists respond to codes
  • They have 31 med surg beds/private rooms.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
