A leading healthcare organization in Connecticut is actively seeking a licensed Family and/or Internal Medicine Physician to join their join growing Inpatient Hospitalist team in Hartford County.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: 7-on / 7-off (12 hour days)
• Specialty: Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Setting: Open ICU (no procedures)
• Patient Volume: 16 to 18 per day

Responsibilities:

The Hospitalist will be responsible for:

• Admit patients to the hospital, either directly from the emergency department or from other healthcare settings
• Conduct initial assessments, gather medical histories, and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
• Monitor their condition, order & interpret diagnostic tests, adjust medications, and coordinate treatment plans
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience
• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Connecticut
• Board Certified in Family and/or Internal Medicine
• Active DEA
