Location: Multiple Campuses – as needed; Austin; Red Wing; Owatonna, Minnesota
Specialty Needed: Hospitalist Medicine - will accept IM or FP
BC/BE Requirements: Board Certified - client will consider IM or FP with at least 2 years of experience
Length Of Assignment: ASAP – ongoing
Facility Type: Inpatient
Patient Volume: Unit Census averages about 12-18 patients per shift – varies
Call Requirements: NONE – 12 hour shift
Other Information: EPIC is the EMR
Specialty Requested: Hospitalist - Inpatient Unit
Reason for Coverage Need: Additional support needed
Start Date: November/December 2021 – AFTER provider is compliant & credentialed – contract approved for 1 full year
Minimum Length Accepted: 3 + months
Schedule: Provider will be considered for 12-hour shifts; 7a-7pm (days) and 7p-7a (NIGHTS); candidates must be able to consider either shift(s)
Patient Age Range: Adullts
Responsibilities: Inpatient Hospital Coverage; Support Consults in the Hospital; There are no procedures that are required.
Inpatient/Outpatient: Inpatient ONLY
Support Staff: Our department at present has expanded to require 16 full time physicians who cover our daytime shift from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. as well as 5 full-time nocturnists and two physicians; RN; PA/NP Support
Certifications Required: Board Certified; Minnesota Licensed
Charting/Dictation: EPIC
