Board-Certified Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician looking for 24-hour call shifts in Michigan with the below dates open. (Please note that the full 7 day stretches may be flexible (fewer days in a row) based on availability.
- March 3rd – 9th
- March 17th – 23rd
- March 31st – April 6th
- April 14th – 20th
- April 28th – May 4th
Job Responsibilities
Setting – Simultaneous coverage and physician oversight of three services: Inpatient Palliative Medicine Consult Service, Outpatient Palliative Medicine Clinic Practice and home-based Hospice Care Service.
Call Ratio – Average number of calls/pages between 7:00PM – 7:00AM is one. Average number of calls/pages between 7:00AM – 7:00PM is 10.
Patients Per Day – Average inpatient consult service census is 12 – 18 patients. Patients are split between physician and advanced practice providers on the inpatient service.
