An opportunity is available for a Lead Palliative Care Physician to join a growing Palliative Care team in Southwestern Connecticut. About the Opportunity:

  • We seek a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible physician who has completed fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
  • This position will provide inpatient consultative services at a 383-bed academic community hospital and satellite locations.
  • Well-established and respected team with full interdisciplinary support, including physician, APRN, social worker, and chaplain
  • There are numerous opportunities available for clinical education and research, and individuals have the option to receive a clinical faculty appointment if desired.
  • The Section of Palliative Medicine closely collaborates with a large Section of Geriatric Medicine. It provides education to residents, fellows, nursing students, and social work students from several surrounding institutions.
