Locum Physician – Hematology/Oncology Opportunity in California
We are seeking an experienced Hematologist/Oncologist for a Locum outpatient Hem/Onc opportunity in California starting December 2026.
Position Details
- Start: December 10, 2026 | Duration: ~26 weeks
- Schedule: Part-time — 6 half-day shifts per week (~24 shifts/month); half days 8a–12p or 1p–5p; full days 8a–5p
- Setting: Outpatient Hem/Onc clinic (county patient population)
- Volume: ~8 patients per half day / ~16 per full day
- EMR: Epic | Chemo: Beacon
- Credentialing/privileging: approximately 60–120 days (no emergency privileges)
Requirements
- MD/DO, Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
- Active California license and DEA
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Strong written/charting skills; county hospital and prior locums experience preferred; Spanish fluency preferred
