Job description
Aya Healthcare is seeking a full-time Hematologist/Oncologist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment (6-month minimum) at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital in Ephrata, PA.
• Rural community hospital with an established patient panel; Epic charting
• Approximately 15 adult patients per day (60% hematology, 40% oncology); 14-chair infusion center and radiation oncology onsite
• Supported by 1.3 Hem/Onc physicians, 3 APPs, and onsite pharmacist; tumor board participation
• Consulting service only; hospitalists manage admissions
• Call rotation 1:2 (weeknight and weekend), mostly phone coverage

Job Responsibilities
• See approximately 15 patients per day (first patient 8:15/8:30A, last 3:30P)
• Provide consults for hospital inpatients; hospitalists manage admissions
• Take call 1:2 (about 10 weeknights and 2 weekends per month), mostly by phone
• Participate in disease-specific and general tumor boards
Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• PA license or IMLC (willing to license); DEA required
• Epic experience helpful
