Aya Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematologist/Oncologist for a full-time, ongoing Locum Tenens opportunity at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital in Ephrata, PA. Start date: 11/9/2026 with a minimum 6-month commitment.
- Rural community setting with an established patient panel
- Onsite 14-chair infusion center, 2-bed infusion room and radiation oncology
- Support: 1.3 Hem/Onc physicians, 3 APPs and onsite pharmacist support
- Oncology-certified nursing staff; Epic EMR
- Bone marrow biopsies, LPs, port access and BMT care not required
Job Responsibilities
• See solid tumor oncology, benign hematology and malignant hematology patients with a 14-chair infusion center onsite
• Consulting service only for the hospital; hospitalists manage admissions
• Take call 1:2 (inpatient plus phone): weeknights about 10 days per month and 2 weekends per month
• Participate in tumor boards
Qualifications
• Active PA license or IMLC only (willing to license)
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Epic experience
