Aya Healthcare is seeking a BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist for a full-time Locum Tenens opportunity at WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg, PA. Start date: 10/12/2026 through 3/8/2027. Brand new practice opening 9/8/26.
- New medical oncology and hematology practice inside a 131-bed hospital
- Support team: 2 front office staff, 1 RN, 1 MA, 1 navigator and other support personnel
- One full-time employed physician hired to date
- Epic EMR
- Temporary privileges available for clean files
Job Responsibilities
• See approximately 10 adult patients per day, expected to grow
• Visit the hospital for inpatient consults as needed; clinic is located inside the hospital
• Take weeknight and weekend call about 1:2
Qualifications
• Active PA license or IMLC LOQ required (willing to license)
• DEA required
• Epic experience
