Full-time locum tenens opportunity for a Hematology/Oncology physician at WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg, PA, supporting a brand-new medical oncology and hematology practice.
- 131-bed acute care hospital with the clinic located inside the hospital
- New practice opening 9/8 with front office staff, RN, MA and navigator
- Adult patients only (18+), about 10 per day and growing
- One full-time employed physician already hired
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
• See approximately 10 adult patients per day, with volume expected to grow
• Cover inpatient consults in the hospital where the clinic is located
• Take weeknight and weekend call approximately 1:2
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC LOQ in hand
• DEA required
• Epic EMR; full-time only (4 days per week acceptable)
